July, the country ten non-ferrous metal production grew by 4.1%, the growth rate slowed by 5.7 percentage
points. Among them, electrolytic aluminum production increased by 6.9%,slowing 6.3 percentage points;
copper production increased by 0.8%, lead production increased by 14.8%, zinc production fell by 9.9%.
Major non-ferrous metals prices are down trend. July, Shanghai Futures Exchange copper futures average
price of 55437 yuan / ton, a slight increase over the previous month, down 20%; electrolytic aluminum, zinc
prices were 15569 yuan / ton and 14586 yuan / ton, down 2.4% and 1.3%, down 9.7% and 15.9%.
1-7 months, the country has ten kinds of nonferrous metals production 20870000 tons, an increase of 6.7%,
the growth rate slowed down 3.2 percentage points. Electrolytic aluminum production 11300000 tons, an
increase of 3.1, accelerating 9.9% percentage points; copper production increased by 9.2%, slowing 5.4
percentage points; lead production increased by 8.9%, slowing 11.1 percentage points; zinc production fell
by 6.6%, the same period last year, an increase of 6.7%. Alumina production increased by 10.3%, slowing
8.6 percentage points.
In the first half, non-ferrous metals industry realized profits of 86500000000 yuan, down 13.9%. Among
them, non-ferrous metal mining industry profits 338 billion yuan, growth of 1.2%; non-ferrous metal smelting
and rolling processing industry profit of 52.8 billion yuan, down 21.4%.
